Chalet Madeleine is one of our most popular catered chalets in Val d'Isère, combining traditional Savoyard charm with spacious, comfortable living areas that are perfect for groups of family and friends. Sleeping up to 14 guests across six ensuite bedrooms, it offers plenty of room to relax together after a day on the mountain.
The heart of the chalet is the large open-plan lounge and dining area, where deep sofas surround the feature fireplace, creating the perfect setting for afternoon tea, pre-dinner drinks and long evenings over dinner. Outside, the private hot tub is the ideal place to soak tired legs while enjoying the crisp Alpine air.
Chalet Madeleine is just a 7-minute walk from the village centre and the main snow front. Alternatively, the free resort shuttle stops just a minute from the chalet and reaches both the lifts and centre in around two minutes, running every 15 minutes until late into the evening.
Like all of our chalets, Chalet Madeleine is offered exclusively on a sole-occupancy basis. That means your group enjoys the entire chalet to yourselves, with no sharing with other guests, creating a relaxed and private atmosphere throughout your holiday.

In our catered chalets, we really do pride ourselves on the quality of our food and catering. We love food. We are all very much foodies here at Buildmyskitrip.com. That is why our entire ethos for the chalets is based upon the idea of a GENEROUS and INDULGENT menu, with freshly prepared, devilishly moreish, great food (and drink of course). Everything is cooked fresh in the chalets every day, by your very own dedicated and friendly chalet team.
To us, it is quite simple. We want our customers to be excited at the thought of coming back to the chalet each day. Eagerly looking forward to a sumptuous, yummy cake by the fire, delectable wine that makes it completely acceptable to drink 7 nights in a row (you are on holiday after all) and most importantly, a mouth-watering, generous and indulgent meal that is hopefully one of those meals where you think “wow, I can’t stop putting this in my mouth”. A GREAT catered chalet is BOTH great accommodation AND great food.
The piste and resort-centre is just a 7-minute walk away, or a 2-minute ride on the free Val d'Isere shuttle bus, that stops just around the corner from the chalet (1-minute walk). The bus runs roughly every 15 minutes, right up until 2 am. Guests can download the Val d'Isere app to see live updates.
