Our catered chalet Sylvain was recently constructed in 2018 and is located in the Le Fornet area of Val d'Isere, France. This luxury chalet accommodates up to 14 guests in 6 ensuite bedrooms and has a luxurious spa area with a hot tub and sauna.
The chalet is arranged over 4 floors and 280m2 of living space. The top floor of the chalet is set under a vaulted wood ceiling and lends a grand ambience to the chalet. The open-plan living and dining rooms enjoy wonderful views over the village of Le Fornet and snow-covered mountains.
The living room has plenty of seating to enjoy evenings together playing board games, watching a movie on the large screen TV or simply chatting the night away by the fireplace.
On the lower ground floor, the chalet’s dedicated spa area will be a welcome sight after a day on the mountain. Guests can sink into the bubbles of the luxury hot tub or ease tired bodies in the glass-fronted sauna. The chalet is completed with ski storage and heated boot warmers located on the entrance floor.
The chalet is situated just a 2-3 minute walk from the ski lift.
Guests can take the free shuttle bus which stops just in front of the chalet, directly into the centre of Val d'Isere. It runs every 15 minutes and takes just 5 minutes to reach the centre. It runs from 7 am until 2 am. Guests can download the Val d'Isere app to see live arrival updates.
Note: Chalet Sylvain operates on a sole-occupancy basis. This means you'll have the entire space to yourselves with no sharing with strangers, ensuring a private and personalised experience.

In our catered chalets, we really do pride ourselves on the quality of our food and catering. We love food. We are all very much foodies here at Buildmyskitrip.com. That is why our entire ethos for the chalets is based upon the idea of a GENEROUS and INDULGENT menu, with freshly prepared, devilishly moreish, great food (and drink of course). Everything is cooked fresh in the chalets every day, by your very own dedicated and friendly chalet team.
To us, it is quite simple. We want our customers to be excited at the thought of coming back to the chalet each day. Eagerly looking forward to a sumptuous, yummy cake by the fire, delectable wine that makes it completely acceptable to drink 7 nights in a row (you are on holiday after all) and most importantly, a mouth-watering, generous and indulgent meal that is hopefully one of those meals where you think “wow, I can’t stop putting this in my mouth”. A GREAT catered chalet is BOTH great accommodation AND great food.
